PIA spokesperson stated that the Airbus PK310 plane landed safely.


Karachi: A Quetta-bound flight PK310 of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) got hit by a bird as a result the flight was taken back to the Karachi's Jinnah International Airport as an emergency.
According to details, five minutes after the flight took off from the airport, pilot reported a bird strike to the traffic control. 17 minutes later, the flight was taken back to Karachi airport at 9:00am today (Wednesday).
PIA spokesperson stated that the Airbus PK310 plane landed safely, and the inspection revealed that the plane's engine fan was slightly damaged by the bird strike.
He added that the flight was loaded with 120 people including flight staff who were offloaded and shifted to the lounge after the incident.
