Karachi: Former Member of National Assembly (MNA) Dr. Haider Ali and former Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parted their ways with the party.
Former PTI leader Dr. Haider Ali addressed a press conference with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Faisal Karim Kundi at Sindh House in Islamabad and announced to join PPP.
Haider Ali was elected from National Assembly NA-Two, Swat-One on PTI ticket in 2018 election.
During the presser, Faisal Karim welcomed Dr. Haider Ali stating: “If you see Asif Zardari's interview, his summary was that Imran Khan is not a political leader, he is a player and cannot be negotiated with”.
On the other hand, former member of PTI Punjab Assembly Javed Akhtar Ansari also announced to leave the party.
While addressing the press conference in Multan, Javed Akhtar said that we strongly condemn the events of May 9, there is no pressure on us.
“We were just hurt by the events of May 9, Pakistan Army is our pride and we stand with it,” he added.
