The explosive materials, suicide vests, detonators, hand grenades and cash have been recovered from the arrested terrorists.


Lahore: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested 12 terrorists during Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) in different districts of Punjab.
According to CTD spokesman, the operations were conducted in Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur and Gujranwala districts of Punjab, in which 12 terrorists were arrested.
The spokesman stated that the arrested terrorists belong to the outlawed Daesh and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The terrorists have been identified as Mir Ahmad, Habib-ur-Rehman, Haroon, Zia, Imran, Mudassar, Adeel and Farooq and others.
He also said that the explosive materials, suicide vests, detonators, hand grenades and cash have been recovered from the arrested terrorists.
Cases have been registered against the terrorists and investigation is underway against them.
During the running week, 40 suspects were arrested in 249 combing operations. CTD officials said that no effort will be spared to bring the anti-state elements to their end.
