Terrorist commander killed in Swat IBO
The Former Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat commander Naik Muhammad alias Niko alias Umar killed during the operation.
Swat: The security forces in Swat have killed the former Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat group commander in an intelligence-based operation (IBO), who was renowned for flogging women.
According to the details, the Pakistan Army and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) successfully carried out an IBO in the Fizagat area of Swat on September 7, 2023.
Moreover, the Former Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat commander Naik Muhammad alias Niko alias Umar killed during the operation.
The terrorist leader who was slain was a former right-hand man of Mullah Fazlullah and was in head of the group's flogging squad during the early years of militancy in Swat.
Naik Muhammad took part in a significant number of terrorist assaults in Swat against security forces during the height of the insurgency. Naik Muhammad and his family left Swat after "Operation Rah-e-Rast" and escaped to Afghanistan.
Earlier, A Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Head Constable was shot and killed in Quetta by unidentified gunmen on Saturday.
According to details provided by the police spokesperson, Head Constable Saeed Ahmed of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) was slain after unidentified gunmen opened fire on him on Jail Road in Quetta.
