Lahore: A crackdown against unlicensed and underage drivers is underway in provincial capital Lahore during which over 3000 people have been booked
According to the details, the crackdown against under-age and unlicensed drivers is underway, as a result of which 3,345 cases have been registered and the vehicles have been impounded in police stations.
During the crackdown, cases have been registered in four days against 1,670 unlicensed drivers.
City Traffic Officer (CTO) Mustansar Feroze said that 190 places have been blocked in posh areas of the city. The citizens should make sure to get their driving license.
He stated that cases have also been registered against those parents who allow their minor children to drive cars and motorcycles.
The officer appealed that parents to never give a car or motorcycle to children under 18 years of age as parents are responsible for their children's future.
