Section 144 imposed in Islamabad in view of possible riots

Islamabad: In view of the general elections situation, Section 144 has been enforced in federal capital Islamabad.

According to a post on the official X account of Islamabad Police, Section 144 has been imposed to deal with any kind of illegal situation in Islamabad.

Islamabad Police further said that respect for the law is mandatory for everyone, legal action will be taken in case of any disturbance.

While in the statement issued by the Islamabad Police regarding the election situation read that the Islamabad Capital Police is grateful to the citizens for their cooperation in conducting a peaceful election.
