Karachi will experience hot and humid conditions until July 18, but there is a chance of rain accompanied by wind and thunder in the city's outskirts

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department on Sunday forecasted the arrival of monsoon winds in Sindh starting today, which will bring rainfall to several cities, including Karachi, over the next four days.
According to the forecast, Karachi will experience hot and humid conditions until July 18, but there is a chance of rain accompanied by wind and thunder in the city's outskirts.
During this period, Karachi's maximum temperature could reach up to 39 degrees Celsius, exacerbated by 70% humidity, making it feel even hotter.
The Meteorological Department also indicated the possibility of rain in Tharparkar, Umarkot, and other areas until July 21.
Besides it, rainfall is expected in Sanghar, Jacobabad, and Sukkur on July 18 and 19.
This week, more monsoon rains are anticipated across Pakistan, with Punjab likely to receive thundershowers from July 17 to 20, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from July 16 to 21. Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan might also experience rain during this period.
