Seven more dengue cases reported in Islamabad in 24 hours
Cases number has risen to 111 so far this season
Islamabad: The dengue cases continue to increase in the federal capital as seven more patients were reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the concerned authorities, dengue cases are increasing in Islamabad, and after seven new cases were reported in 24 hours, the cases number has risen to 111 so far this season.
79 cases have been reported from rural areas of the capital and 32 from urban areas. Similarly, 17 patients have been reported in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and five in Capital Hospital.
It is pertinent to note that the Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care released data regarding dengue in Punjab yesterday, according to which 27 cases of dengue were reported in 24 hours while 81 cases were reported in one week. Thus, 447 cases of dengue have been reported so far this year.
