Murad Saeed lauds contributions of overseas Pakistanis to country's economy
"Government has initiated several schemes including health cards for the welfare of the people"
Islamabad: Minister for Communications Murad Saeed on Monday has lauded the contributions of overseas Pakistanis to the country's economy.
Addressing an Overseas Convention in the federal capital, Murad Saeed said the overseas Pakistanis are Ambassadors and pride of Pakistan.
The Minister for Communications said Prime Minister Imran Khan has truly represented Pakistan and raised the issue of Islamophobia at the world level.
He said the government has initiated several schemes including health cards for the welfare of the people.
On the other hand, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has reiterated the government's commitment to transform Pakistan into a great nation.
Addressing an overseas convention, he said the overseas Pakistanis will play a pivotal role in this regard. He was also appreciative of the contributions being made by the overseas Pakistanis to the country's economy.
