PM will perform the groundbreaking of megaprojects, including the University of Kamalia, an Industrial Zone, and Degree Colleges.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan is all set to visit Kamalia today (Saturday) as part of his public contact campaign.
According to details, he will address a public gathering and perform the groundbreaking of megaprojects, including the University of Kamalia, an Industrial Zone, and Degree Colleges.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Punjab Governor Muhammad Sarwar and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will also accompany the Prime Minister.
Yesterday, PM Imran Khan addressed a public gathering in Mansehra's Thakral Stadium, despite the Election Commission of Pakistan's (ECP) decision of barring the premier from visiting Mansehra.
The prime minister’s visit of Mansehra was a part of the ruling PTI’s campaign for the March 31 local body elections in the city and six other districts of the Hazara division.
Subsequently, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) imposed a fine of Rs50,000 each on Prime Minister Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, and three other holders of public offices for addressing a public gathering in Malakand in violation of the code of conduct devised for local government elections.
