20kg flour bag will now cost Rs210 more, 10kg bag Rs110 more

Multan: Multan Flour Mills Saturday announced an increase of Rs10.50 per kg in the price of wheat flour after which the rate of 20kg wheat flour bag was surged by Rs210.
According to details, the new price of the 20kg bag of wheat flour has now climbed up to Rs1,310 from Rs1,100. The 10kg flour bag has also been increased by Rs110 to reach Rs660 from Rs550.
The new and revised rate list has been issued by the Multan Flour Mills.
The mill owners argued that they have increased the flour price due to the increased price of wheat in the market.
“The flour mill owners are buying the wheat at Rs2,425 per maunch much more than the rate fixed by the government,” the mill owners maintained.
Sources claimed that the price of bread (roti) will eventually be increased with the price hike in flour prices.
