Sleeping during the work is often observed in offices, most probably it is due to lack of sleep at night or stupor after lunch.

However, it is very dangerous to fall asleep or show drowsiness while driving as the slightest negligence can lead to major accidents.
Around the world, due to sleep deprivation many lives are lost in terrible traffic accidents while driving.
In this regard, Dr Saad Al-Sharif, a medical expert in a Saudi magazine has highlighted the various causes of falling asleep while driving and explained how to evade it.
Talking to a private Saudi channel, he said that there are many reasons for falling asleep during the day, the most prominent of which are waking up late at night, not getting enough sleep at night, sleep disturbances, mental and nervous disorders, and use of special medicines.
Dr Saad, while explaining the method to avoid sleep while execution of important duties such as driving, said that to take complete sleep at night is the best way to avoid the dizziness while performing essential duties further he insisted to avoid awaking at the dusk.
He said that sleeping routine should be improved while adequate sleep should be taken at night while health problems that cause sleep during the day should be treated effectively.
Meanwhile, he advised drivers not to drive even a short distance when they fall asleep.
