According to family sources the former army chief has been allowed to travel by doctors

Former president and chief of army staff Pervez Musharraf is expected to be airlifted to Pakistan via an air ambulance and his treatment will continue in the country, sources said on Friday.
The former general's health deteriorated last week.
Sources said Musharraf’s family has decided to shift him to Pakistan. The former president has been in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the last six years getting medical treatment.
After the news of Musharraf’s ill health, PML-N, a major stakeholder in the coalition government, and the military leadership had said that the former president should be brought to the country if he wants to come back.

According to sources, it has been decided to bring former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf to Pakistan. Family sources of the former president said that he will be brought to Islamabad by air ambulance tonight.
According to family sources, the former president has been allowed to travel by doctors, after which it has been decided to bring him to Pakistan.

Sources said that an air ambulance was being arranged for the repatriation of the former president and he could be brought to Pakistan anytime between Saturday and Sunday night.
They further said after the offer of repatriation by the Pakistan Army and the consent of the government, it has been decided by the children of the former president and other family members to bring him back home.
