Pyongyang: North Korea has fired two ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan, a launch confirmed by South Korea and the United States.

According to details, it is the first missile test carried out by North Korea since US President Joe Biden assumed office.
North Korea is banned from developing and testing ballistic missiles under United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.
The test of missiles have been condemned by both South Korea and Japan.
Two days earlier, reportedly, North Korea had carried out two non-ballistic missiles into the Yellow Sea.
The US Pacific Command, which oversees military forces in the Asia-Pacific region, said on Thursday that the test highlighted "the threat that North Korea's illicit weapons programme poses to its neighbours and the international community".
Mr Biden is yet to officially comment.
In 2018, former President of US Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un had inked a deal in Singapore that North Korea would not test long-range ballistic missiles or nuclear weapons. Now with North Korea testing ballistic missiles, serious concerns are raised on future line of relation between the two countries.
