Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, died on September 8
London: The state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will be held at Westminster Abbey on September 19.
This was announced by the Buckingham Palace in a statement.
The Queen's coffin will travel from Scotland by Royal Air Force aircraft from Edinburgh Airport to London on 13.
The Queen's coffin will lie in the Palace of Westminster for four days for public to pay their respect to the late Queen.
On September 8, Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
The Queen came to the throne in 1952 and witnessed enormous social change.
With her death, her eldest son Charles, the former Prince of Wales, will lead the country in mourning as the new King and head of state for 14 Commonwealth realms.
