Terrorism case: Court extends Imran Khan’s interim bail till Jan 10
The court adjourned the hearing till January 10.
Islamabad: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Monday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan till January 10 (Tuesday) in terrorism case.
According to details, the ATC judge Raja Jawad Abbas Hasan recommenced the hearing today where the former premier’s lawyer Babar Awan submitted a petition seeking exemption of Imran Khan from the appearance on ‘medical grounds’.
The court accepted the plea and adjourned the hearing till January 10.
The case was registered at the Sagjani police station under various sections including that of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
Islamabad Police registered 16 cases against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other senior leaders, following the riots in the federal capital during ‘Azadi March’.
