Karachi police formulates new strategy to tackle street crimes
The officers will be posted on the streets in three shifts to deal with street crime.
Karachi: Karachi Police has designed a new strategy to deploy security personnel in different areas to deal with street crime following the instructions of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Sindh Police issued a notification to post personnel from the Police Training Centers in different areas.
From Shahid Hayat Police Training Center, 1000 personnel have been sent to South Zone and 900 personnel to West Zone.
Whereas, 1200 constables from Police Training Center Razaqabad have been deployed in East Zone.
According to the police officials, the cops will be posted at sensitive areas under the supervision of the regional police station.
The officers will be posted on the streets in three shifts to deal with street crime.
