Jemima confirmed that ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’ is inspired by her own real-life event of living in Pakistan but she stressed that this was not a biopic and not her story. She termed her film like a ‘love letter to Pakistan’, pointing out that she wanted to show the beautiful Pakistan what she observed and saw during her stay totally opposite of what is shown on the western screens.
