The Caller claimed that the 25 persons having weapons had reached Mumbai to carry out the attack.
The Nagpur police instantly warned the Mumbai Police which launched investigation into the matter.
Still it was unclear whether the call was fraud or not.
This is not the first time that prominent individuals in Mumbai had received such kind of threats, according to the reports.
In February 2021, a wild Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) was discovered near Mukesh Ambani’s home containing explosives and a note threatening his family’s safety.
After this incident the security measures for the richest businessman increased. Ambani and his family provided security on the directions of the Indian Supreme Court.
Zoom portal reported that: “In 2021, the Mumbai police’s Crime Intelligence Unit arrested two individuals for spreading tales about bombs at railway stations and Bachchan’s residence.”
The recent bomb threat is under investigation and the Mumbai police are working to recognize the unknown caller.
