Contempt of court case: Imran gets exemption from attendance
Judge adjorned the case till March 13.
Islamabad: Distrcit and Sessions Court Islamabad Thursday granted exemption from attendance to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in contempt of court case, GNN reported.
According to details, Sessions court judge Rana Mujahid Rahim heard the case and exempted Imran Khan from attendance in the case of threatening female judge Zeba Chaudhry.
Former Prime Minister Imran khan’s lawyer Naeem Haider filed the appeal for exemption from attendance in the court on the basis of security threats.
Laywer Naeem Haider informed that due to yesterday’s chaos in Lahore, Imran Khan’s residence in Zaman park had been cordoned off by the police and he had been attacked before also.
The judge Rana Mujahid adjourned the hearing till March 13.
