PML-N to not issue Punjab polls tickets till court's verdict
It stated that they have not boycotted teh elections as yet, however it is decided to not issue party tickets.
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Thursday decided to not issue party tickets for elections in Punjab Assembly till verdict of the court, GNN reported.
According to PML-N sources, it is stated that if N-league would participate in the upcoming elections or not, it will be decided after consultation with party supremo Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
There is also a possibility of important party meeting after Eid-ul-Fitr, told sources.
Talking to GNN, PML-N leader Atta Tarar also told that tickets have not been issued to the candidates as yet. “Our verdict in the Supreme Court is we do not consider elections of May 14”.
It stated that they have not boycotted the elections as yet, however it is decided to not issue party tickets.
