SC registrar delists CJP Bandial’s bench
The list of the cases to be heard by bench number two had also been delisted.
Islamabad: Registrar of Supreme Court Wednesday issued a notification to delist the bench of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Atta Bandial and all the 12 cases registered to be heard by the bench today, GNN reported.
According to details, the three member bench headed by Umar Atta Bandial comprised of Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail and Justice Athar Minallah.
The list of the cases to be heard by bench number two had also been delisted. A new two-member bench has been formed for bench no. two comprising of Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan. A list of cases for bench no. two has been issued by registrar office.
The cause list of Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Shahid Waheed has been canceled.
The sources of apex court told that it is not an unusual situation as sometimes the benches get delisted if any of the judges are on leave. However, any important reason of delisting the bench as not been ascertained as yet.
