People given targets where to protests against Imran's arrest, says Rana Sanaullah
The Interior Minister says the consultations are underway regarding protests within the Red Zone and Maulana Fazlur Rehman will share his decision at 10:00 pm tonight.
Islamabad: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the people were given the targets where to stage protests on the day PTI Chairman Imran Khan was arrested, and the days after it.
“We have no idea that these are the trained terrorists who had been given proper training during the last eight months,” said Rana Sanaullah while criticizing the PTI during a press conference along with Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday.
He said, “the PTI workers were trained how to set the things on fire,”. He said that these people [PTI] did not deserve any agreement. He stated that the agencies’ report given to him was quite alarming. The Interior Minister said that the bails granted to Imran Khan were unprecedented.
“This man tries to make the whole nation fool after all these incidents,” said Rana sanaullah.
He stated that they thought these people were the political workers, would stage protests and would go back but the situation was quite difficult.
He said that he told Maulana Fazlur Rehman that controlling the protests within the red zone would be difficult. He stated that he along with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar held meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman on the directions of the prime minister regarding discussion about the protests within the Red Zone. Sanaullah said that Maulana Fazl said that he would be back after consulting his party leaders.
