Pakistan emerged as secular state on world map, claims Maulana Fazl

The PDM Chief says his party’s central shura has suggested preparations for upcoming elections in the country.

Pakistan emerged as secular state on world map, claims Maulana Fazl

Peshawar: Pakistan’s introduction as an Islamic state on the world map got damaged and it emerged as a secular state, said Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head and Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Monday.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the May 9 incidents were awful and urged the state authorities to take strict action against those who were responsible.

He also came down hard upon the PTI chairman, alleging that his alliance with Indian PM Modi was the result of occupation over Kashmir. He also blamed that the PTI government caused damage to CPEC project. He stated that the PTI chief also destroyed the national economy.

He expressed these remarks while addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Monday.

The PDM Chief emphasized upon such a foreign policy which could benefit the country among the world nations.

For general elections, the central shura of the party asked for preparation in all four provinces

He also announced intra-party elections on first of Moharram and indicated to open membership of the party across the country. He went on to say that it was very strange that the friendly countries were not ready to give loans to Pakistan due to Imran Khan—the person who used to call others “thieves”.

“What is this that the friendly countries are giving loan to that person who is called thief and not ready to give even a penny to a person who claimed himself as Sadiq and Amin,” said the JUI-F chief. He stated that Pakistan was under economic crisis.

Fazl said that the budget introduced by the coalition government was balanced one, and urged the government authorities to provide relief to the masses.
