Shehbaz claimed that he felt honored to announce the auction of Toshakhana gifts before the delegations of APNS, CPNE and PBA.

Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has decided to auction all the Toshakhana gifts on Tuesday.
According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that any profits from the Toshakhana gift would go for the welfare of the impoverished and the defenseless people.
"I announce that all of the gifts worth millions or rupees will be put up for auction at Toshakhana," he stated. However, all of the proceeds will only benefit the institutions that care for orphan children, whether they be social agencies, schools, or hospitals.
Speaking to a delegation from the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS), and Pakistan Broadcasters Association PBA, PM Shehbaz reaffirmed that "We will hand them over under a mechanism to support the orphans who are unable to face the challenges of life."
Shehbaz claimed that he felt honored to announce the auction of Toshakhana gifts before the delegations of APNS, CPNE and PBA.
He explained to the media representatives that the coalition parties did not anticipate the severity of the economic problems that the existing administration inherited.
The Toshakhana was established in 1974 and is a department under the administrative jurisdiction of the Cabinet Division. It holds priceless presents that foreign dignitaries and heads of other governments and states have given to rulers, lawmakers, bureaucrats, and officials.
