Shehbaz Sharif rejects govt’s proposal to use electronic voting machines
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) on Sunday has rejected Prime Minister Imran Khan's suggestion of using Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) in general elections.
In a statement on twitter, the PML-N leader said that the whole world has already rejected the application of electronic voting system and Pakistan Election Commission (ECP) has declared it unworkable.
“Such important national tasks cannot be implemented at the request or order of a specific individual,” he added.
