Govt increases petrol price by Rs17.50 per litre
The Finance Division has also increased the price of High Speed Diesel by Rs20 per litre, taking the total price to Rs293.40.
Islamabad: The federal government on Tuesday approved Rs17.50 increase in the petrol price and put more burden on the public already suffering from sky-rocketing inflation.
The per litre petrol would be available at Rs290.45 from now till the furtehr orders.
The government also increased the price of High Speed Diesel by Rs20.00 per litre. After the increase, the HSD would be available at Rs293.43. The Finance Division issued the notification.

The significant increase in the prices of the petroleum products would cause huge impact on the public suffering already from sky-rocketing inflation.
