British researchers have initiated the process of urine strip development similar to pregnancy tests.

London: Cancer is considered to be a malignant disease that sometimes acts as a hidden enemy and appears at the very last stage when treatment is not possible.
Modern medical science is working hard to diagnose cancer at home.
British researchers have initiated work on nanoparticle sensors for the timely diagnosis of cancer.
Hence for self-diagnosis of cancer, pregnancy-style urine test strips will be introduced soon, which will enable timely detection of the disease.
These nanoparticles will be able to diagnose the stage and type of cancer by examining the tumor.
The sensor could also be used to differentiate between different types of cancer and predict whether tumors will regenerate after the treatment.
Nanoparticles are designed to target tumors and release DNA sequences. The analysis of these DNA barcodes can reveal details of a patient's tumor.
