Preliminary investigations declare Alamgir Tareen's death as a suicide
The causes of Alamgir Tareen's demise are under scrutiny as a forensic report emerges.
Lahore: In the ongoing probe into the demise of Alamgir Tareen, the brother of Jahangir Tareen and a prominent figure in Pakistan's business and the Multan Sultans cricket team, initial findings indicate a case of self-inflicted gunshot, according to the recently released forensic report.
According to the report, preliminary investigations have uncovered gunshot residue on Alamgir Tareen's hands, along with evidence suggesting close-range firearm discharge.
It's worth noting that Alamgir Tareen tragically took his own life on July 6th, with no prior indication of any legal proceedings against him.
He was renowned for his business ventures and held the position of owner and managing director of the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
