Mohsin Naqvi, US Ambassador discuss bilateral cooperation

Lahore: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi met US Ambassador Donald Bloom in which it was agreed to increase bilateral cooperation.

In the meeting, issues of mutual interest, opportunities to increase bilateral trade and investment, promotion of cooperation in agriculture, tourism and restoration of historical buildings were discussed.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that under the January 2023’ declaration to declare Punjab and California as sister states, they want to promote trade and economic relations, they want to benefit from the experience of California in terms of agriculture, especially seed development. We welcome the American cooperation regarding the restoration of the buildings.

The US ambassador reiterated his determination to expand cooperation in US-Pakistan economic relations and other areas of mutual interest, saying that he will further promote the ongoing cooperation with the Punjab government in various fields.
