Islamabad: The hearing of cipher case against Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi was adjourned without proceeding on Thursday.

According to details, PTI lawyers Babar Awan, Naeem Panjotha and Sher Afzal Marwat appeared before the court of Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain.

Court staff told PTI lawyers that Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain is on leave till September 08.

PTI's lawyers requested to adjourn the hearing till September 09.

Court staff said that Judge Abul Hasnat will not come even on September 09, he will be on duty from Monday, September 11.

The lawyer of PTI said: “The hearing of cypher case should be held on September 09, otherwise we will see it on September 11,” adding that if the judge is on duty on September 09, we will give arguments on the bail application.

Hearing of the cypher case was adjourned till September 9 by court.

It is pertinent to note that hearing of the cypher case was postponed due to the absence of Judge Abul Hasnat on the request of Chairman and vice Chairman of PTI.
