ANF recovers 450 kg drugs in nationwide operations
The Anti-Narcotics Force has apprehended over 15 individuals from various regions nationwide.
Lahore: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has been diligently spearheading a nationwide operation to crack down on drug dealers.
From September 1st to October 8th, the ANF successfully confiscated approximately 450 kilograms of illicit drugs and apprehended over fifteen individuals suspected of involvement in narcotics-related activities.
This sweeping operation is the result of a joint effort by the interim government and military leadership, aimed at taking robust anti-narcotics measures.
Since its commencement in September, the operation has yielded substantial drug seizures in various regions across the country.
In Punjab, law enforcement authorities seized 17 kilograms of hashish and over 4.5 kilograms of heroin, striking a significant blow to the drug trade in the province.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the ANF successfully confiscated 12 kilograms of opium, 97 kilograms of hashish, 15 kilograms of heroin, and half a kilogram of meth.
Similarly, in Balochistan, significant drug seizures were recorded, including 127 kilograms of hashish, 44 kilograms of meth, and 30 kilograms of opium.
In Sindh, 124 kilograms of hashish were recovered, further disrupting the illicit drug networks operating in the region.
As a result of the ANF's relentless efforts, nine drug dealers were apprehended in Punjab, three in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two in Balochistan, and one in Sindh.
