The meeting of more than an hour discussed the upcoming general elections, electoral alliance and the current political situation.


Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Mutahidda Qoumi Movemnet (MQM) Tuesday announced to contest together for the upcoming general elections.
Following the invitation of former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a delegation of MQM headed by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui met the leader of PML-N Nawaz Sharif in Raiwand.
According to details, MQM delegation included Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal, while Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Pervez Rasheed also participated in the meeting from the (N) League side.
According to the media reports, the meeting of more than an hour discussed the upcoming general elections, electoral alliance and the current political situation. While they also discussed about getting the people of Pakistan out of the economic quagmire.
It is also reported that Nawaz Sharif supported MQM's position on the dire situation of Sindh, census and constituencies.
On the other hand, after the meeting, the PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq while talking to the media in Model Town said the coming demands are for the betterment of Pakistan. The delegation of MQM met, more people are also willing to meet and we will come together for the interest of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the journalist asked that Bilawal Bhutto said that the prime minister will not be from Lahore, to which Ayaz Sadiq replied that it can be a wish of someone, every party has its own wish. We see Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
