Pakistan’s playing-XI for first T20 against NZ
Under the captaincy of fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abbas Afridi and Osama Mir will make their T20I debuts.
Lahore: The final playing-XI of the Pakistani team for the first match in the series of five T20 matches against New Zealand has been announced.
Under the captaincy of fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abbas Afridi and Osama Mir will make their T20I debuts while Azam Khan will join Pakistan's final XI as a wicketkeeper.
Mohammad Rizwan and Saeem Ayub will open while Babar one-down, Fakhar Zaman fourth, Iftikhar Ahmed fifth and Azam Khan will play at sixth positions.
Aamir Jamal will come seventh and Usama Mir will come eighth while Abbas Afridi and Haris Rauf will also be part of the final eleven.
Addressing a press conference before the first match, captain Shaheen Afridi said that Pakistan has been playing well in the T20, the performance has been good in the big events as well. But unfortunately, the results could not be obtained in these events.
He added that it is not easy to play the semi-finals and finals of the World Cup, they were making small mistakes and will try not to make mistakes.
Shaheen Afridi further said, at that time some players in the team made a comeback and there are some new players. We will try to make everyone play the game.
