Cab driver arrested for harassing female student in Lahore

Lahore: A female student going to university in Lahore got the alleged harassing cab driver arrested.

According to the details, the student called 15 emergency from Raiwind area saying that the taxi driver tried to harass her while taking her to the university.

Responding to which the Safe City team immediately sent the police for rescue, the Nawab Town police reached the spot and rescued the student.

In the video of the Safe City cameras, the student can be seen getting off of the moving vehicle and then slamming the door of the vehicle.

The arrest of the driver was carried out by tracing the vehicle using Safe City cameras.

The Safe City spokesperson said that the police arrested the accused and started the investigation.
