Special prosecutor declares Imran main accused of May 9 incidents
The special prosecutor said that there were many posts on X and messages on Instagram. PTI founder asked the people to come out on the streets.

During the hearing on May 9 cases, the special prosecutor completed his arguments, in which he named Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan as the main accused.
According to the details, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore heard on the interim bail applications of Imran Khan in seven different cases of May 9 arson, in which Special Prosecutor Rana Shakeel named PTI founder Imran Khan as the main accused in the May 9 case.
During the hearing, Special Prosecutor Rana Shakeel completed his arguments in the prime minister house burning case, in which he said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan is the main accused. There are witness statements. He asked all PTI leaders to burn military installations. The special prosecutor read out the statements of the witnesses in the court.
The court inquired whether the founder PTI had made any statement on online platforms directing people to attack state institutions. To which the special prosecutor said that yes there were many posts on X and messages on Instagram. PTI founder asked the people to come out on the streets.
It is pertinent to note that the court has directed the attendance of Imran Khan from the jail via video link and has also asked arguments from the lawyers of the founder of PTI.
Seven cases have been registered against PTI founder including Jinnah House, Askari Tower vandalism.
