Over 75pc students pass BDS final exams in Punjab
as many as 880 candidates from 17 dental colleges took the exam out of which 659 passed and 214 failed
Lahore: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Friday announced the result of BDS final professional annual examinations 2023.
According to a press release issued by the university's spokesperson, as many as 880 candidates from 17 dental colleges took the exam out of which 659 passed and 214 failed. Thus, the success rate was 75.49 per cent. Syeda Dushka Zahra of Nishtar Institute of Dentistry Multan stood first with 695/800 marks, Kashaf Qasim of University Medical and Dental College Faisalabad stood second with 694 marks and Amna Ahmad Aziz of Lahore Medical and Dental College Lahore got the third position with 692 marks.
Additionally, the UHS also announced the result of the Doctor of Physical Therapy second professional annual examinations. Out of 454 candidates from 18 colleges who took the exam, 298 passed whereas 156 failed. Thus, the success rate was 65.64pc.
Zainab Iftikhar of Bakhtawar Amin Medical and Dental College Multan stood first with 769/900 marks, Ruhma Khan of Lahore Medical and Dental College stood second with 763 marks and Zartaj Zahra of Bakhtawar Amin Medical and Dental College Multan stood third with 757 marks. All results can be viewed on the University of Health Sciences website.
