ATC orders shifting of Shah Mahmood Qureshi to Lahore's Kot Lakhpat Jail
The PTI leader is currently facing jail trial in the May 9 cases
Lahore: The anti-terrorism court (ATC) of Lahore ordered the transfer of PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi to the Kot Lakhpat Jail. The PTI leader is currently facing jail trial in the May 9 cases.
Qureshi had filed an appearance request through a video link from Adiala Jail while the police had requested Qureshi to be permanently transferred to Kot Lakhpat Jail.
The ATC accepted the police request. On the other hand, former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was permanently transferred from Adiala Jail to Kot Lakhpat Jail.
According to prison sources, Shah Mehmood Qureshi is accused of involvement in vandalism, rioting and arson on May 9.
