Stock market increased by 1,007 points during trading


Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a tremendous boom on Wednesday.
On the second day of the business week, the stock market increased by 1,007 points during trading, with which the 100 Index in the stock exchange reached the level of 80,498 points.
It is pertinent to note that on the first day of the business week, the business day in the Pakistan Stock Exchange ended in a positive zone due to which the 100 Index closed at the level of 79,491 points with an increase of 159 points.
US Dollar
On the other hand, the dollar continues to depreciate in the interbank market.
On the second day of the business week, the US currency depreciated by Rs0.23 in the interbank market, with the dollar falling to Rs277.90 from Rs278.13.
