IHC disposed of Imran Khan's appeal for possible military arrest, trial
Munawar Iqbal said that if military trial is decided, application will go to Civil Magistrate first
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) disposed of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan's plea for possible military detention and stop trial.
Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb of IHC heard the request to stop the possible military detention and trial of founder PTI Imran Khan.
During the hearing, Additional Attorney General Munawar Iqbal Dogal told the court that no decision has been made regarding the military trial of the founder PTI. If any such decision is made, legal procedures will be adopted.
Munawar Iqbal Dogal said that if the military trial is decided, the application will go to the Civil Magistrate first.
Later, the Islamabad High Court disposed of PTI founder Imran Khan's petition on the statement of Additional Attorney General Munawar Iqbal.
