PTI suggested Liaquat Bagh and Bhata Chowk locations for Rawalpindi rally


Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) submitted a formal request to hold a meeting in Rawalpindi on September 28.
PTI District President Chaudhry Ameer Afzal and the District Secretary General along with a team of lawyers applied to the Deputy Commissioner Office.
It was said in the petition that PTI is the largest political party in the country and peaceful assembly is the constitutional and legal right of every political party.
PTI has suggested Liaquat Bagh and Bhata Chowk locations for the Rawalpindi rally.
The Deputy Commissioner's Office has received PTI's request for permission for the rally. The district administration has decided to take guidance from the Home Department for the rally.
