SIFC facilitation important to stabilize Pakistan economically: Saudi Minister
He continued that Pakistan has controlled the economy very quickly
Islamabad: Saudi Minister for Investment Engineer Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al Falih said on Thursday that there are eternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and we have to stabilize Pakistan economically.
Speaking at the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Business Forum ceremony in Islamabad, Saudi Minister for Investment Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz stated that before the plane door opened, they felt the love of Pakistan. ‘We are not friends, we are a family, we need Pakistani friendship. There is a feeling of warmth’.
The Saudi minister added that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia do not need any agreement, we are one and united. Our economy and social values are connected.
He further said that 2.5 million Pakistanis are serving in Saudi Arabia. President Asif Ali Zardari has emphasized the promotion and expansion of Pak-Saudi friendship. “We met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Asim Munir, he said that they will make investment in Arab a single window”.
Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Falih also stated that the facilitation of SIFC is important for us. The Army Chief has emphasized replacing red tape with red carpet for Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Minister said that 27 MoUs would be signed with Pakistan. Our trade cooperation with Pakistan and investment has increased rapidly. Our economic relations are unlimited like Pakistan-Saudi relations.
He continued to say that Pakistan has controlled the economy very quickly. We have to stabilize Pakistan economically. Saudi Arabia is the largest construction site in the world, and Pakistan can play an important role in providing us with construction materials.
