Islamabad: The meeting of the special committee of the parliament will be held on Wednesday.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has refused to participate in the special committee meeting of the Parliament.
Apart from this, the summary of convening the National Assembly and Senate meeting on 26th constitutional amendment on October 17 has been sent to the President.
On the other hand, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) agreed on the draft of the 26th constitutional amendment.
Bilawal Bhutto and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman had a meeting at Bilawal House Karachi in which the leaders of both parties also participated. The meeting continued for several hours.
Later, while holding a joint press conference, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman said that both the parties have agreed on the constitutional amendment draft and Bilawal Bhutto has an important role in reaching this consensus.
He stated: “We would like the consensus of Nawaz Sharif to be obtained and efforts will be made to create such a consensus in the bill that it is considered a consensual constitutional amendment. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has had a serious discussion”.
