Imran Khan's petition for treatment with personal physician
Dr Asim was not given access to Imran Khan on October 15
Islamabad: A petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for treatment with the personal physician of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
Founder PTI approached the IHC through Barrister Salman Safdar and Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry. The petition stated that Imran Khan's physicians are not getting access to him. Whereas, he is a former Prime Minister and is 72 years old.
According to the petition, Dr Asim was not given access to Imran Khan on October 15. Personal physicians are aware of PTI founder's medical history.
Dr Asim Yusuf, Dr Faisal Sultan and Dr Samina Niazi should be issued a checkup permit in accordance with the 15-day schedule. Dr Asim Yusuf, Dr Samina Niazi and an ENT doctor should be allowed to inspect immediately. Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Superintendent Adiala Jail have been made parties in the petition, added the request.
