Ban extended on Adiala Jail prisoners' meetings
The extension applies to both political and ordinary prisoners
Lahore: The Punjab government has further extended the ban on meetings with prisoners at Adiala Jail, citing ongoing security concerns.
Officials confirmed that the extension applies to both political and ordinary prisoners, as confirmed by officials.
Initially imposed on October 4, the ban was set to last until October 18. However, on October 18, the government announced an additional two-day extension, meaning the restriction will now remain in place at least until October 20.
The decision has been implemented to ensure security within the jail, with authorities monitoring the situation closely before deciding on any further extensions.
The restriction affects all forms of visitation, including family visits and legal consultations.
