Faisal Farid Chaudhary request to act against jail superintendent
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Tuesday filed a contempt of court petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for denying access to its founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.
PTI’s legal team member Faisal Farid Chaudhary submitted the petition, requesting the court to initiate contempt proceedings against the superintendent of Adiala Jail for defying court orders.
The petition highlights that the court had permitted meetings between Imran Khan and his lawyers on September 6, but since October 3, these meetings have been prohibited.
The petition also names the Punjab Home Secretary and the Jail Superintendent as respondents.
