PMLN govt is going in right direction, says Nawaz Sharif
Shehbaz led government making all-out efforts to boost the country’s economy
London: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has said the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led government was making all-out efforts to boost the country’s economy.
Speaking to media in London on Friday, he said, “Why people will pour on to the streets for the PTI founder? The nation does not recognize his [PTI founder’s] achievements as his performance is zero.”
He recalled his ouster as the premier, saying, “I had been the country’s prime minister thrice. I was informed in jail that my wife has passed away. We have suffered the worst persecution.”
Nawaz said, “We have endured the most injustice.” He berated the PTI, saying, “The PTI should show a project that it can be proud of.”
He stated, “PM Shehbaz's government is fixing the economy, and the economic indicators are improving.”
Speaking about the recently approved 26th constitutional amendment, Nawaz said, “The 26th constitutional amendment is welcoming. The parliament had already made such an amendment, which was later canceled by the judiciary.”
