Afghan citizen was found to be involved in terrorism inside Pakistan
Rawalpindi: Security forces conducted an operation in North Waziristan and killed an Afghan citizen involved in terrorism.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Department of the Pakistan Army, an operation was conducted by the security forces in the general area of Datta Khel in North Waziristan.
During the operation, an Afghan citizen was killed who was found to be involved in terrorism inside Pakistan.
The ISPR said that the dead Afghan was identified as Luqman Khan alias Nusrat, son of Kamal Khan.
According to the ISPR, Luqman Khan was a resident of Spira District, Khost Province, Afghanistan. The Afghan interim government is being contacted to hand over the body of the dead terrorist.
The ISPR said that there is undeniable evidence of the involvement of Afghan citizens in such incidents. It is hoped that the interim Afghan government will fulfill its responsibilities. It is expected that the Afghan interim government will prevent the use of Afghan soil for terrorist acts against Pakistan.
