China showcases its power at commemoration of victory over Japan in World War II

China held a historic parade to commemorate its victory over Japan, and speaking on the occasion, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that humanity today has to choose between war and peace, and at the same time sent a message to the rival United States that history has proven that the Chinese nation has never been intimidated by any bully.

China demonstrated its full power in Beijing on the 80th anniversary of its victory in World War II and forcing Japan to kneel.

A magnificent military parade was held at the historic Tiananmen Square in the capital, Beijing, in which men and women from the air force, navy, and army participated with great agility and movingly salute President Xi.

The arms and steps of the military troops were rising in such harmony that even if robots had performed this action, there would probably have been a mistake. Everyone was amazed by the skill of the Chinese army.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, inspected the military forces and boosted their morale. China's most advanced aircraft flew past on the occasion.

The parade also showcased new weapons for China's most advanced land, naval, and air forces.

Long-range intercontinental nuclear weapons were also included. It has been claimed that these weapons are capable of hitting targets anywhere in the world.

Troops also demonstrated how to take up positions in a few moments by riding tanks and missile-carrying military vehicles.

The commemoration ceremony of the Chinese people's strong resistance to fascism and Japanese aggression was attended by leaders from 26 countries, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Iranian President Peshkerian.

In his speech, Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed that the army should be transformed into a world-class military force. President Xi said that the Chinese People's Liberation Army will always be the heroic armed forces that the Communist Party and the Chinese people have full confidence and trust in.

President Xi said that all members of the armed forces should perform their sacred duty with firm conviction, accelerate the process of becoming a world-class military, and safeguard China's sovereignty, unity, and regional stability with all their might.

At the same time, the Chinese president stressed that the armed forces should provide strategic support for the rejuvenation of the nation and make greater contributions to peace and development in the world.

President Xi urged nations to prevent the recurrence of historical tragedies and warned the world that the development and prosperity of the Chinese nation cannot be stopped.

President Xi Jinping said he wanted a world order based on justice and equality and made it clear that no matter how strong China becomes, it will never take an expansionist path.

The ceremony officially opened with an 80-gun salute that reverberated in Tiananmen Square. Earlier, the Chinese president met with Chinese soldiers who participated in World War II and praised their services.

The veterans are 90 years old or older and belonged to the Eighth Route Army, South China Guerrilla Forces, and the Kuomintang. They were soldiers who showed bravery in the 14-year war that ended with Japan's unconditional surrender in 1945.

In this war against Japanese aggression, the Chinese nation had formed a united front to protect the homeland against the enemy, and millions of citizens had to sacrifice their lives in it.

Modi not invited

Chinese President Xi's wife, First Lady Peng, was also present at the reception of the guests. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was also present in the group photo, while Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not invited to attend the ceremony.

It was a beautiful coincidence that when the Chinese President welcomed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, he welcomed North Korea immediately after him, and when world leaders moved towards the Tiananmen Rostrum to inspect the parade, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the North Korean leaders were seen close together while climbing the stairs.

At the end of the parade, 80,000 pigeons were released to pay tribute to the heroes killed in the war, and thousands of colorful balloons were released, bringing smiles to everyone's faces.

Thousands of young boys and girls who performed songs on the occasion waved the national flag. A special dinner will also be served to guests in the Great Hall today as part of the celebration.
