Dubai: In the Asia Cup T20 final, Pakistan has set a target of 147 runs for India to chase.

For the first time in the 41-year history of the Asia Cup, a Pakistan vs India final is being played, taking place in Dubai.

In the final match, India won the toss and chose to field first against Pakistan. The entire Pakistani team was bowled out for 146 runs in 19.1 overs.

The first wicket to fall was that of Sahibzada Farhan, who scored a solid 57 runs off 38 balls, before being caught out on Varun’s delivery at a total score of 84.

Next, Saim Ayub scored 14 runs and was dismissed by Kuldeep at 113 runs. Following him, Mohammad Haris went back to the pavilion without scoring.

At 126, Fakhar Zaman was also caught out on Varun's ball after scoring 46 runs off 35 balls. Shortly after, Hussain Talat was dismissed at 131, having scored only 1 run.

Later, Salman Agha scored 8 runs before getting out. Then Shaheen Afridi and Faheem Ashraf were dismissed without scoring any runs.

Pakistan made no changes to its squad for the final. The team includes: Captain Salman Ali Agha, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Sahibzada Farhan, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Abrar Ahmed.

On the Indian side, all-rounder Hardik Pandya was ruled out of the final due to injury and has been replaced by Rinku Singh in the playing XI.

In the Asia Cup 2025, India defeated Pakistan in both earlier matches, but Pakistan has beaten every other Asian team** in the tournament.
